Tacoma Music History 
Does anyone know where the Wailers played their earliest gigs. I remember hearing Kent Morrill play with an earlier group (the Nightcaps?). When I heard that he was playing in a group called the Wailers, I convinced my classmates to audition them for a dance at Bellarmine HS. Impressed with them, we hired them for a dance, and they were great. At that time live bands were banned at Tacoma’s public high schools, so Bellarmine got a great turnout.
